North Down and Ards Institute, Bangor

Project Value – £690,000

Completed

Description

This project consisted of the provision of numerous alterations, upgrades and refurbishments to the Bangor Campus, which included lift installation, disabled access and controls, two darkrooms, teaching laboratory with fume cupboard, the library, Animal room, Abbey Restaurant, and minor classroom refurbishment works. A deaf alerter system and car park lighting on Ards Campus are also included in this project. The project on initial brief had to be completed during the summer break, which was then extended as the works under this contract extended. This required specific appreciation of the time constraints and co-ordination of services to ensure there was as little disruption to the running of the Institute.
