Description
This project at Sacred Heart Grammar School involved a 483m2 extension to the existing Sports Hall facility. The extension incorporated a Fitness Suits and New Entrance Foyer.
Expansion of the existing LPHW heating system was provided to heat the new Sports Hall facility including the Fitness Suite and Entrance Foyer.
Recessed flat panel radiators were fitted throughout the Sports Hall and Fitness Suite with decorative vertical column radiators were installed at the Entrance Foyer.
The existing site water main serving the School was also diverted to avoid the new structure.
The existing Sports Hall ventilation was supplemented by providing 2 no. void mounted inline variable speeds fans with associated ductwork and ceiling grilles to achieve the required air change rate.
The electrical services included all general and emergency lighting, small power installation and all cable management within the extension to the sports hall and entrance foyer. The fire alarm system was upgraded and new public address system installed.
